Don’t you hate how you can only output Youtube videos and presentations with your Apple A/V cable? Don’t you wish you could watch movies and play games on your TV? With TVOut2 you can output everything to your TV! Simply install this tweak on Cydia and then plug in the video cable to use it. If you get the iPad VGA adapter you can connect your iPhone 4 to your TV and output at a resolution of 1024×768! This tweak automatically enables itself whenever you plug an A/V cable in or the VGA adapter.
Make sure you enable the TVOut2 toggle in SBSettings. When you switch between applications quickly the image on the TV can freeze sometimes. You can quickly disable then re-enable the plugin with the SBSettings toggle so that you don’t have to unplug the cord.

Backliter is used with Activator to allow you to quickly increase and decrease the screen brightness. The settings allow you to specify exactly how bright or dim you want your screen each time it is activated. I have set Activator to launch Backliter when I swipe left on the status bar. This way I can quickly dim the screen when I am outside or in the car at night and then quickly make the screen bright when I go into a well lit area.

When you are on the go sometimes its just better being able to use a bigger screen. With MyWi you can turn your iPhone into a Wifi hotspot and browse the web on your laptop or other Wifi equipped device. Have you ever dropped your keys on the ground at night or been in another situation where you needed a flashlight? With Springflash you will never be without a flashlight ever again. It is used with Activator to allow you to easily turn on the phone’s LED camera flash. Simply install the tweak on Cydia and enable it in Activator.
I set mine to turn the LED light on when the sleep button is pressed and held for two seconds. This allows me to turn the LED light on and off quickly without turning the iPhone’s screen on.

SBSettings is a fast launching settings menu that gives you access to a variety of commonly used settings. It also shows your cellular data IP address, Wi-Fi IP address, free disk space, and free memory. It even allows you to close current backgrounded programs and free up memory. Other features include the ability to hide preinstalled program icons, a four icon dock, and custom themes. The theme seen in the picture is called Black’n'Blue HD.
SBSettings can be downloaded for free on Cydia along with extra installable toggle buttons. Some of the more useful downloadable toggle buttons include Springflash, Insomnia, and Volume.

For the longest time I used to think people who bought iPhone car chargers for $30 at the phone store were fools. I picked up a charger on eBay for $5 with free shipping. It worked great for a long time and then things went bad, really bad. One day I plugged my phone in and ZAP! The screen went blank and the phone never turned on again. I took the phone to the Apple store and found out that the charger completely zapped the logic board on the phone, meaning it was completely broken beyond repair.
I also do not recommend buying a cheap video cable. Apple has a special chip inside their cables so that only they can manufacture them. If you have a jailbroken iPhone you can use a third party video cable and make the phone bypass the check for the chip. Unfortunately all of the cables I have tried were all very poor quality. They did not fit correctly and could easily damage the dock connector. The Apple branded video cord is expensive but it is well worth the cost.

Don’t you hate how your iPhone weather icon doesn’t show the live weather? Now you can have live weather information right on the icon! It also allows you to display the weather information next to the clock. This way you can check the weather from your lockscreen. To get this awesome tweak on your phone search for WeatherIcon on Cydia. Go to Settings to enable Weather Icon after you have installed it.
The settings for this tweak are simple. You can enable the icon image and display a badge of the temperature. You can also show the weather image and temperature on the status bar. The Weather Settings submenu lets you select how often to refresh the weather information. The more often it is refreshed, the more drain on the battery. I selected 5 minutes on my iPhone.

If you are disappointed with the stock multitasking you need Multifl0w. Multifl0w is a Cydia app that shows an image of each window that is open, instead of the icons. It is a much more visually appealing and efficient way to multitask on your iPhone. You can use Activator to trigger how Multifl0w is launched.
When you install Multifl0w it will automatically set Activator to enable it by pressing the Home button twice.

Activator is one of the most useful downloads in Cydia. It allows you to reprogram the iPhone’s button functions, allowing much greater control and ease of use. The possibilities are endless with this tweak. After installing Activator go to your Settings and you will be able to select it.
I would recommend setting Hold Volume Up to Next Track and Hold Volume Down to Previous Track. This will allow you to change songs easily with the volume buttons! Simply press and hold the volume up or down button and it will change songs. I would recommend programming the Home button to Play/Pause your music with a Short Hold.
